Sometimes a job comes along that you think is just too good to be true...

A website is a vital part of your business these days, and one of the issues that concerns a lot of companies and web developers is what the experience of using your site is like for the user. It needs to be pretty much foolproof and simple, so easy to use that anyone could do it, and that gave one man an idea.

That man is Richard Littauer, web developer and founder of The User Is Drunk, a service that tests if a drunk person can your site and therefore proving that it really is user-friendly. Sounds like a stupid idea, right? Well you're wrong, because demand has been so high for the service that he's had to up his prices (from $150 to $150) and has more work than he can healthily or reasonably do.

Of course, the use of alcohol in moderation is a concern if your job is to get drunk, so Richard has taken some precautions on that front. As he states on his site, "I intend to drink responsibly. I have close friends checking in with me regularly to make sure this doesn’t become a problem for me. I’ll do this once or twice a week, and limit the number of clients".

That's very responsible and level-headed of him, but on the other hand, he also guarantees that you'll get footage of him trying to use your site while drunk, and that can then help you improve the experience for the end user.

We're submitting our CV pretty much immediately.
