it's been confirmed by Floyd Mayweather's team that an official invitation has been extended to Donald Trump to attend the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather in two weeks time.

The statement was made by Mayweather's business advisor, Leonard Ellerbe said on Thursday, who confirmed that "an invitation is out there... every A-lister wants to be involved in this fight. There is tremendous interest from all kind of people."

Trump has a special relationship both with boxing and, in particular, with UFC's Dana White. In July of this year, White confirmed that Trump was interested in attending, but was scared to do so. "He feels like he'll ruin events, he'll ruin the event if he shows up. Secret Service is going to have to go through the place, shut down streets and create crazy traffic."

Whatever about his bizarre tweets, threatening nuclear war with North Korea, should he attend the fight on August 26th, Trump will be met with open arms by the fight's promoters. "He can have 10 tickets if he wants," said White.
