He might like wearing the undergarments of whomever he happens to be doing at the time, but Pete Doherty is still man enough to impregnate a virgin. Not just any virgin either; this one just happens to be the godchild of Sir Alex Ferguson. Laura McLaughlin, an alleged 20-year-old virgin, told the News of The World: "I was a virgin when I met Peter and when we had sex. He knows about the baby. I told him I was pregnant the moment I found out shortly after Christmas. We are only in contact by phone." Seemingly the conception happened during a fleeting weekend union last October - around the time his then girlfriend, Irina Lazareanu, announced they were engaged. Laura continued: "He told me he liked me because I was intelligent and straightforward as well as sweet and innocent. He said I was the opposite of Kate Moss (subtle jibe, Pete). He led me to believe when we parted on the Sunday night, things weren't going to end there. But they did." Doherty is doing the charitable thing by saying he "doesn't know who the girl is."
