David Hasselhoff has legally changed his name in a somewhat bizarre move which he called 'a big relief for me'.
The Baywatch actor has been known colloquially as 'The Hoff' for years, and now it would seem that things are official as he is now David Hoff.
He posted a clip on Twitter with a video explaining how he 'wanted to drop the hassle from his life for years', and displaying a certificate bearing his new name, saying "Big news today and a massive relief for me. I hope everyone can understand… it feels great!"
