To say yesterday's Critic's Choice TV Awards was full of movers and shakers is something of an understatement. Busy Philips doing the Charleston; Jon Hamm dancing like an uncle (I don't like the beard, Jon. You can throw all the looks you want, still manky); Elijah Woodjust doing what comesnaturally; it was all happening.

Even Cat Deeley's gnashers were intent on getting in on the action. That or she was simply displaying her ability to use her facial features, unlike some... Although something's not quite right...

We'll get to the winners in a jiffy, but before that, let's just give a nod to those who got it right and those who got dressed in the dark.

Knockouts at the luncheon include Katey Sagal; Christina Hendricks (nice to see her breasticles not stealing the show for once); Zooey Deschanel; Judy Greer and - at a stretch - Jayma Mays and Courtney Cox.

Those letting themselves down terribly were Patricia Heaton (resembling a raisin in a toupee); Jenna Elfman (one pantsuit away from becoming a Jane Lynch parody); Martha Plimpton (self explanatory); Alan Cumming (ditto); Kaley Cuocu (a palazzo overload); RuPaul (gone with the wigs, in with the golf loving Snoop Dog) and Danny DeVito (true, they're formal Crocs, but their Crocs all the same).

Lastly, a word for Sam Trammell: "Swoon".
