Justin Bieber had a visit from police after allegations of reckless driving.

The 19-year-old singer had an unexpected knock on the door from the cops at his mansion in Los Angeles, California, on Monday evening after they reportedly received a high volume of calls from neighbours complaining about his alleged irresponsible motoring at the weekend.

Speaking to TMZ, Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore said: 'Callers reported Bieber driving at a startling high rate of speed. At least one child was playing in the area where Bieber was allegedly driving.'

He added that the case will be presented to the LA County District Attorney at a later date.

The string of complaints - which accused the pop star of driving too fast when children were playing outside - come just two months after the 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker allegedly threatened to kill his neighbour and spat at him after being confronted for racing his Ferrari in their peaceful community.

Sheriff's investigators were urging prosecutors to charge the singer with battery and believe the high-profile singer should undergo counselling for his alleged bad behaviour.

The District Attorney is currently reviewing that case and is expected to make a decision soon.
