It looks like the world is finally going to see Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo go toe-to-toe inside the octagon.

The UFC have announced that Featherweight Championship bout between McGregor and Aldo will be on the UFC 194 card on December 12th in Las Vegas. The pair will meet in division's first ever unification match, after McGregor claimed the Interim Championship with victory of Chad Mendes at UFC 189.

Arguably the biggest fight in the history of the division, and one of the most anticipated in the company's history, the bout will have been in the works for almost a year by the time the two face off, after current champ Aldo pulled out of the original UFC 189 fight due to a rib injury.

There had been talk of the card taking place in Dallas, Texas in the Cowboys Stadium, but once again Vegas has been chosen to showcase the event, which seems fair enough as it's the fight capital of the world.
