UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor will get a shot at UFC Featherweight champ, Jose Aldo, IF he wins his next fight in Boston.

McGregor is headlining a UFC card against German fighter Denis Siver on January 18th in Boston, where fellow Irish fighters Cathal Pendred and Paddy Holohan will also do battle in the octagon.

White told reporters "This fight in Boston, if he wins this fight, he's going to fight for the title." When asked if that fight could be in Croke Park he responded, "Interesting. You know that place is a 90,000-seat arena?" and then a simple "yes" when prodded on if the famous GAA venue would be considered.

McGregor is a polarizing figure in the world of MMA, but is 4-0 in the UFC, with 3 first round knockouts. So while he make talk a lot of trash, he also backs it up.

His proposed opponent, Brazilian champ Jose Aldo, posted the below pic when the White quotes broke.

Well that's not very sound, is it?
