Last night's fight at UFC 202 between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz continues to make headlines across the world.

The fight has been a worldwide trending topic on Twitter for the past twenty-four hours and now that the dust is beginning to settle, McGregor can start counting up his winning from last night's victory.

A report by MMAFighting.com has it that McGregor will scoop a $3,000,000 fight purse from UFC 202, breaking the previous record set by Brock "I Take Sh*** Bigger Than McGregor" Lesnar. Lesnar previously collected a $2,500,000 purse from UFC 200 when he squared off against Mark Hunt.

With sponsorships, endorsements and just about everything else thrown in top of it, McGregor expected to rake in close to $10,000,000 from last night's fight. However, neither Diaz and McGregor would have won a win bonus from the fight. As well as this, Diaz collected $1,000,000 less than McGregor in the fight purse.

As with McGregor, Diaz's various sponsorship and endorsement deals will bump up his winnings from the fight to a similar figure to his opponent's.
