Chances are if you're into UFC, you already know that Conor McGregor was knocked out in the second round of his match against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi last night.

While we're not going to even attempt to analyse the match because, uh, we're not a sports outlet, we are however interested in the memes and jokes that have sprung up from the moment.

And friends, let us tell you that there are a lot. A LOT. Not surprisingly, the other focus of the internet's comedic energy this week - Bernie Sanders, in his mittens - was a frequent mixture in some of them.
