It's the age old question, you know, ever since Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore had that spot of bother with Robert Redford... and he wasn't just asking for dinner - if you know worrah mean. Personally speaking; a million quid - BRING IT. I'll have the lobster.

The German supermodel - who made the revelation while appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show - was offered the huge amount by an Arab prince, but didn't take him up on it as she thought it was "strange". Quite.

Asked by Ross what requests she had during her huge success in the 90s, she replied: "Loads of weird ones, but the strangest one was from an Arab prince. He asked if he could hire me for a dinner for a million pounds. I declined, and some other supermodel took it." Here's looking at you, Campbell.

Claudia - who is married to film director Matthew Vaughn - declined to say which prince made her the offer. He should contact Kim Kardashian next time.

She also claimed she was a "loser" at school: "Everyone called me Duck because my bum stuck out and I walked kind of funny because my legs are a bit funny, and I was really tall. I didn't have any friends." And then you had one who wanted to pay you a million pounds to hang out with him, swings and roundabouts, hah.

Although she's now used to being photographed for magazines and appearing in adverts in just her underwear, the model claims she is naturally shy, adding: "I am just shy when there are lots of people. I'm OK when we're just one on one, or maybe four people. I'm a really, really shy person. Once I put the make-up on I'd go 'OK, I can cope'."

I relate. It's very time consuming slathering make-up on the trickier areas, like the back of the thighs and over the undulating bra flab.

You can see Claudia talk about herself on The Jonathan Ross Show this Saturday on ITV at 9:20pm. She will be joined by Dara O'Briain, Kristin Davis (Charlotte off SATC), and Rufus Wainwright.
>Kim Kardashian has been ''annoying'' her "date" to the Vienna Opera Ball.
