Ireland has been delighting in the annual festive tunes of Christmas FM for the last decade or so, but now Halloween wants in on the game.

Halloween FM is an online station which launches today and will have a playlist featuring the likes of Ray Parker Jnr’s 'Ghostbusters', ‘Sweet But Psycho,’ by Ava Max and ‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Eilish.

There will be a ‘Bloody Breakfast Show' presented by Adrienne O’Hora, ‘Midday Madness’ with Lucianne Hughes, 'Drive from Hell’ with Ryan O’Neill while Fionnuala Moran hosts ‘Nightmare Nights’ each night from 7pm – 11pm.

Broadcasting from Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, it will be Ireland's first Halloween station.

Daragh O’Sullivan, joint programme director of the station, says: "We are delighted to bring online for the first time ever. We are really looking forward to giving listeners a music monster with a feeling and flavour of Halloween delivered through our unique mix of content."
