Following his blunder over the weekend, the 'Avengers' actor has finally come out of the woodwork.

It happens to the best of us - we accidentally post or send something to the wrong person or onto our Instagram story from our phones - but the difference is that we don't have millions of followers who will notice within seconds. Or let's face it, we're not in Hollywood blockbuster movies either. The same can't be said for Captain America unfortunately, and Chris Evans has finally addressed the moment in his first post-picture interview.

Appearing on the 'Tamron Hall Show' via video link, Chris looks to be holding it together pretty well just a few days after the incident happened. He told the presenter: "It was an interesting weekend, full of ah... lessons learned. Things happen, it’s embarrassing, you got to roll with the punches.

"I will say I have some pretty fantastic fans who really came to my support, and that was really, really nice."

Allowing the internet to have a cool-off period following the picture circulating online, the actor eventually posted onto his Twitter account yesterday: "Now that I have your attention... VOTE Nov 3rd!!!"

Once the NSFW picture-posting was out of the way, Chris Evans also spoke about his 'Avengers' co-star Chadwick Boseman's recent passing. Evans spoke of how he has been processing his friend's death, saying the star's "legacy is solidified forever".
