Indeed it wasn't just Miriam's neck that was gripped last night during Primetime... the entire country found themselves thrown into a frenzied debate as to whether it was a 90s resurgent fashion statement too far - especially when worn by someone who's rumoured to be running for President (Ian Dempsey mentioned it this morning, so it must be true. And, as a bonus for winning, you get to pack the family off to the Aras. GOWAN MIRIAM).

Speaking via The Independent, the mother of 8 added: "The reaction has been hilarious. I love chokers and always did so I am delighted they are all back in fashion...I got a hugely positive reaction to it so happy days. I will wear another one tonight." Amazing.
There's a saying that goes "if you remember it the first time around, you're too old to wear it the second time around" - or something to that effect. In this case, that's not true. She looks just as good as Wigfield (dancing is mandatory. We won't judge.)
