So, that's it. Cheryl Cole has sent off the papers and should, fingers crossed, be granted a divorce as soon as. The Sun reports that a court has received the documents and  the soon to be ex-Mrs Cole, won't be asking for a cash settlement. Ashley is due to head off soon with his English team mates ahead of the World Cup next month and the singer wants to have it all done and dusted so he can concentrate on his game and, on top of that, he'll get to keep the house/mansion. God, that's thoughtful of her, especially after what he did.

A friend of Cheryl's said: "Cheryl made a swift decision to put England's World Cup dreams ahead of herself. The divorce should be finalised before England's first touch of the ball in South Africa on June 12. She knows how vital it is for Ashley to have a completely clear head and concentrate entirely on his football and performance, with no distractions or emotional pulls. She wants a completely clean break with no malice or wrangling over property or money. Cheryl will not take one penny of Ashley's money." In fairness though, she earns enough herself so Ashley's money isn't going to make that much of a difference.

And, because nothing is private anymore, we also know that the divorce papers cited 'unreasonable behaviour' and a report that Ashley actually admitted he was unfaithful.
