Cheryl?! What's happened? Is everything OK with the new husband? Are all questions you're probably not asking yourself right about now...It's OK - she's planning on bringing French husband JB to Newcastle with her. Lucky sod.

The I Don't Care singer is reportedly looking to set up home with husband Jean-Bernard Versini back in her home city in North East England and was spotted looking through details of potential properties a few weeks ago.

A source said: "Cheryl was seen by locals at a restaurant in Ponteland a few weeks ago carrying a bundle of local estate agent pamphlets. She was really friendly to everyone and was overheard discussing her house hunt with the owner. She loves Newcastle and would like to have a base nearer her mum.'

As well as her Cheryl's Trust charity being based in Newcastle, the 31-year-old is said to be keen for her and her restaurateur husband to set up a business in the city.

The source told the Daily Star: "She's talked about the idea of buying a high-end wine bar and have JB manage it. Cheryl would love for JB to have a link to Newcastle too."

She recently admitted she wants to spend more time in her home city and thinks it will be "good" for her, saying: "I don't get to come back here as often as I like. But that will change now - and that will be good for my lifestyle. There's a specific smell in the air that means Newcastle to me. I go to the same Chinese takeaways and I get to eat the soup my mother cooks."

I'm going to read between the lines here (and therefore be one of those irksome and inappropriate 'womber' merchants) and say she's looking to have family close by for the impending patter of little feet. Speaking as someone who hasn't got grandparents on tap to child mind, it is very tricky having a life without them. Then again, Cheryl can probably afford a round the clock babysitting.
