Charles Ramsey, the hero who helped Amanda Berry and tow other women escape their kidnappers after being missing for 10 years, has been rewarded by local burger eateries by getting free burgers for the rest of his life, following his now much memed claim that he was eating McDonald's when he heard the racket and took part in the rescue.
Having already gotten a burger named after him at his former employers dubbed 'The Ramsey Burger', Ramsey has now been awarded 'The Chuck Card', which entitles him to free burgers from over a dozen local restaurants who banded together to reward their hero whenever he wants. For life. 'We want to honor our local hero with local food,' said one of the restauranteurs to press 'He stopped his meal midway through to help those women. We're now making sure he has other opportunities to go out and fully enjoy his burger.'
Hopefully he won't overdo it. As delicious and deadly as this reward is, it's not exactly the healthiest so fingers crossed he uses some discretion and moderation.
