Now in its forth year, the SCOOP Foundation have truly mastered the charity art auction. Not only do they offer such talent and such high quality work, and not only do they host a real LIVE auction with real live bidding (no silent auction here!), but they also offer art lovers amazing bargains, as artists allow their work to sell at non gallery prices, in order to raise the funds needed to build SCOOP Schools!
That's what the SCOOP does; they run their own events, keep costs and over-heads down, and then with the funds they raise they build schools for street and homeless children living in poverty in India and Cambodia. Simple!
This year's SCOOP Art Auction & Exhibition showcases 95 original and brilliant artworks, all of which will go on sale in an exciting auction on Sunday the 14th of October at 3pm in the Ormond Wine Bar, right beside the old Ormond Hotel on Ormond Quay in Dublin's City Centre!
And this year they are also offering a delivery service so you can come along, enjoy some lovely wine, buy something you love and the SCOOP will drop it out to your home! Now that's what I call easy!
And that's not all! The Ormond Wine Bar are offering anyone who quotes the SCOOP 15% of their bill. The Ormond serve exquisite wines and great food, and have live music from Wednesday til Saturday, Not bad!
