Back in 2012, Cee Lo Green was accused of "slipping someone ecstasy without their consent."

According to an article on BuzzFeed, the 39-year-old singer posted several comments about the subject on his social networking account today before deleting the posts and his account, just days after he pleaded no contest to furnishing ecstasy to a 33-year-old woman. When she woke up the next morning in bed with him, she was unable to recall what happened the night prior.

In response to other Twitter users, the Forget You singer wrote: 'If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent. People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!! (sic)'

Cee Lo's tweets come after he appeared at the Los Angeles District Attorney's office on Friday, and pleaded no contest to one felony count of furnishing ecstasy to said female, after she accused him of slipping her the drug without her knowledge in July 2012.

The former Voice USA mentor - real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway - insisted they 'shared' the drug, and he also entered a special plea in which he maintained his innocence in the case.

The singer was later placed on three years of formal probation and ordered to complete 360 hours of community service and attend 52 Alcoholics Anonymous/Narcotics Anonymous meetings. He must return to court on March 5, 2015 for a progress report. This comes after prosecutors rejected a rape charge against him in October 2013, in relation to the same incident, citing insufficient evidence.

Green since deleted all of his related tweets, before posting the below statement and deleting his entire Twitter account.

"Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context. I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support that got me thru this to begin with. I’d never condone the harm of any women. Thank you."
