Debbie Reynolds, the mother of Carrie Fisher, who died on December 27th, passed away last night.

Reports are that Reynold's, who has 84, was rushed to hospital as she was planning her daughter's funeral. She died a few hours later.

Reynold's posted a statement about her daughter's death yesterday, saying, "Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter. I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop."

Tonight, her son, Todd Fisher, Carrie's brother, told Variety, "She's now with Carrie and we're all heartbroken.'

Reynolds was known for the classic musical, "Singin' In The Rain" amongst others.
