The actress's (yes, she's an actress. I've not seen her in anything apart from the pawn shop CCTV coverage either, but she's an actress nonetheless) year of supervised probation - imposed after she caught with approximately four grams of cocaine while in Aspen, Colorado, last year - was ended on January 3rd, after just seven months.
According to TMZ, Brooke's lawyer, Yale Galanter (which sounds like some form of super lock), had met with prosecutor Arnie Mordkin in Aspen, and they agreed to end Brooke's probation.
Prosecutor Arnie and the judge reportedly felt Brooke had obeyed all laws (apart from the ones she broke in the first place), which she was required to do, and was conducting herself in a responsible manner, so they decided to be lenient with her. Because that will help her not re-offend?
As part of her probation, Brooke was prohibited from drinking any alcohol and had to submit to random urinalysis. If she had violated any of the terms of her sentence, she could have been sent to jail.
Since her prosecution, Brooke - who has three year old twins Bob and Max with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, although they now probably call Denise Richards 'mom' - left rehab for the 19th time after just six days on December 16th and is said to have been doing well since. She was planning to spend Christmas with her children, and sources say she is currently doing well.
