Britney Spears was last night rushed to hospital after police were called to her LA mansion at 8pm last night (4am GMT) and found her under the influence of an 'unknown substance'. A spokesman for the LAPD, Jason Lee, said: "Police were called to Britney Spears mansion this evening. She was refusing to hand the children over to their father as part of a court order. We were called and the situation is now what we call a Code 4 - which means everything is done." Which would explain the ambulance, fire engine and six police cars that were present at her gaff. Hmmm. Her youngest son Jayden was also taken away in a seperate ambulance. This all stems from Spears' refusal to show up to recent court appearances relating to her childrens' custody with ex-hubby K-Fed. Spears is now expected to have her mental state evaluated today in hospital. I could tell ya the outcome of that one - barricading yerself into your house with your kids and getting whacked off your face on an 'unknown substance' isn't exactly the most sensible thing in the world.. but the gurning, grinning pictures of her in the ambulance say it all. Sad. Goddamn, I'm getting a conscience here, that can't be right.
