The Gigantes do Norte, otherwise known as 'the Ronal-teenios', are Brazil's best all-dwarf soccer team and, judging by the evidence in the video above, would fare pretty well against most teams twice their size.

The Gigantes do Norte were formed to help change the perceptions and bias that little people face every day of their lives, by showing them in situations where they can match, or even better, a team of fully able-bodied opponents.

They play on full-size soccer pitches, using standard soccer rules - with one difference: they're allowed to perch up on each other's shoulders to form a wall when defending a free kick.

Several members of the squad, according to their coach, would be more than capable professionals if they were of more regular height. Their star player Wagner Love, according to coach Max Goiano, would be a Brazilian soccer star if he was a few inches taller and judging on the evidence of the video above, who are we to argue?
