It's one thing being paid to play a role that might make you look like a total bird that can't let things go, it's another to freely portray yourself in that way. Hilary of the Swank may have two Oscars under her belt but, according to the New York Post, she can't quite get herself over her stint on Beverly Hills 90210. Waaaaaaay back in 1997, she signed up to play singler mother (the one that Jason Preistly wanted to stick it in) for two seasons and unmercifully got canned after just 16 episodes. The distraught actress recently said: "They never told me why, they just said it wasn't working. Especially when it's in its eighth season and no one's watching it. You just think, 'I'm not good enough for this show?'" That would appear to be the case, yes.
