Mario Balotelli seems to attract a lot of attention on social media, even when he's trying not to.
That certainly seems to be the case after a rather irked boyfriend tweeted out the messages that he had been sending to his girlfriend on Instagram. The Icelandic couple have found themselves the subject of a few headlines on sports pages back at home as a result of a series of flirty messages sent by Liverpool player Mario Balotelli, which were then tweeted out by Jonatan, who didn't seem all that happy with the attention his girlfriend Maria was getting.
He had a screengrab of the conversation between Balotelli and his girlfriend, and tweeted it with the message "the moment when Balotelli tries to steal your girl" to accompany it.
The Liverpool third-choice striker seems to be a regular Instagram user, as a screenshot of a different conversation he had with another woman from Iceland was also doing the rounds on social media, according to 101greatgoals. Still, who hasn't been guilty of a bit of a lurk every now and then? Footballers are real people, they need social media to find love too...
