Billy Corgan has taken to the Interactive Crapping Machine (AKA Twitter) to "slam" rocker Courtney Love in their ongoing feud. The Smashing Pumpkins frontman has attacked the Hole singer, suggesting she is a bad songwriter and mother to daughter Frances Bean (shocker). Here's a selection of his thoughts:
"If you can't write your own songs maybe you should just be happy that you fooled someone into doing your work for you... Only u could abandon such a beautiful, incredible child who is much smarter than u, cooler than u, and better than u. Oops, did I say too much?"
The "feud" started when Love allegedly used songs the pair had recorded together for her new album, Nobody's Daughter (out right now, hence the release of this story)
"I haven't given my permission. I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can't throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that," Corgan said in an interview with Rolling Stone.
Love then kind've, sort of, but not really apologised via her Facebook page, writing: "I love you, I love your strong and eternal heart, even love the f***ed up gnarly (how 90s of you, love) amazing magnificent bigger-than-god louder-than-love karma of the songs you write and allow me to fly with." I'm not sure he has allowed you, Courtney. I think that might be his issue, there.
In other "I've got an album out, now listen to me spout controversial shite, WHEEE!" type happenings; yesterday, Courtney declared on Howard Stern that she had her way with Gavin Rossdale under Gwen Stefani's nostrils. This comes from Us Magazine's site:
"'Everyone gave me so much sh*t because Gavin sounded like a lot like Kurt... But man, he was such an Adonis in his day! He got good in bed... something happened. Maybe Gwen taught him, for all I know.' Stern then asked her, "You were [having sex] him while he was with Gwen Stefani? 'Yes,' Love replied. 'She does know.' Stern continued: 'You mean he was having sex with you while he was with her?' 'Everyone ... yeah... and a few other people,' Love said. 'We didn't have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit'."
