It goes without saying that body art is highly subjective.
What one person deems beautiful and awe-inspiring will be horrifying to someone else, and vice-versa.
That said, Billie Eilish's latest tattoo is proving divisive amongst even her hardcore fanbase.
The 20-year-old superstar gave fans a sneak-peek of her latest ink in a post earlier this month, showing a tattoo that ran from the back of her neck and presumably down her back, although it was covered by a t-shirt.
Now, the 'Bad Guy' singer has revealed the whole tattoo in a new image, taken presumably while the artist was in the middle of their work or straight afterwards - as there is still fresh ink smeared across Eilish's back.
It's difficult to decipher what the tattoo actually is, or what it means - although it looks like an intricate, swirly scrawl that extends all the way down her spine.
