Irish comedy fans are spoilt for choice this morning with the announcement of two big shows in 2024.

Bill Bailey will brings his new show 'Thoughtifier' to Dublin's 3Arena on February 9th and Belfast's SSE Arena on February 10th.

The 'Strictly Come Dancing' winner and comedian will kick off the 'Thoughtifier' tour in Dublin, with the blurb explaining:

"At a point in our evolution when it seems as if we’re sleepwalking into a world where humans might be redundant, and much of what we do can be done better and more efficiently by machines, what better time to celebrate our own flawed humanity. And who better a guide to lead us than Bill... To take us on a jaunt through the error-strewn, distracted, crumb-festooned, sometimes magnificent history of human thought and how it might help us survive in this brave new world. A magical, musical mystery tour of the human mind, along with some other pressing matters about whales, biophilia, unrequited love and other thoughts. Amplified With Music."

Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10am.

Meanwhile, The 2 Johnnies have announced their biggest headline show to date with a gig at St. Anne's Park in Dublin next June.

'Pints in a Field 2' will see the comedians joined by Craig David, 5ive, Seamus Moore, Noel Furlong, Jen Payne and more TBA, on Saturday, June 8th 2024.

Described as "Part Live Podcast show, Part Live Gig, Part Athlone IT Rag Week 2004 and all the usual 2 Johnnies Madness", tickets are from €59.50 and on sale from usual outlets this Friday at 9am. Presale tickets are available Wednesday 27th from 9am, only for The 2 Johnnies' Patreon subscribers.
