Bernard Brogan earns this 'Irish Legend' award after setting himself apart as a key man in Dublin's All Ireland Football title victory back in September.
Scoring 2-3 in the final, the full-forward was awarded man of the match for his performance, the hero of Dublin, the bane of Mayo, that day. As well as that All Ireland victory, Brogan helped Dublin to win the Leinster Senior Football Championship seeing Meath off in the final, as well as a league win against Tyrone in Cork, another game in which Brogan played a central role.
