Ben Affleck has been asked his thoughts on US President elect Donald Trump and it's safe to say that the Live by Night star has no qualms about sharing his disdain for the former hotel magnate.

In an interview with The Guardian, Affleck recalled meeting Trump at the Milan Fashion Week.

“I met him once at a Fashion Week event in Milan. You knew you were at a cheesy party if Donald Trump was there. He would kind of trawl around them.”

In the same interview, Affleck also shared a conversation he'd had with Scent of a Woman director, Marty Brest about Trump's demand for a cameo in return for granting permission to film on his property.

“[Trump] was famous for only granting permission for films to shoot on his real-estate locations if they put him in as a cameo,” Affleck said. “The director Marty Brest told me he’d had to create a whole hand-shaking scene in Scent of a Woman where Trump comes out of the door and goes, ‘Hey! Donald Trump, nice to meet you,’ as he bumps into Al Pacino. The ego was there a long time ago.”

Although Trump's cameo in that film must have ended up on the cutting room floor, Affleck's description of it very much resembles Trump's Home Alone 2 cameo. That film was shot in The Plaza which Trump bought in 1988 before losing it to bankruptcy in 1992, the same year the movie premiered.
