You know how you see crazy alternative futures in sci-fi movies and think 'there's no way we're going to end up dressing like that'? Well think again, because one Dutch designer has already started crafting clothes out of materials that can do all sorts of nutty stuff. Like becoming transparent when you get all worked up. Ideal, no?

Daan Roosegaarde has pioneered clothing in his 'Intimacy' range which are made of 'smart e-foils' and other materials and respond to a number of different stimuli to become see through. His stimulus of choice in this case was the human heartbeat, so as you get more flustered, you'd also get more naked.

Roosegaarde is now working on further applications of his technological garments, and is in talks with big fashion labels to mass produce his works. Nude is going to be the new black sooner than we think.
