Time to start the online purge...

Bebo has returned to our lives, as we reported a while back, in the form of a new app, but your old photos are going to be part of the package too, as the social media giant is looking to win back our hearts from the evil Facebook and Twitter corporations.

Their new app is based around messaging, and allows you to have an avatar and plenty of fun, judging by how the people who have access to it already have been reacting online

It's been a weird few years for Bebo as they went from being sold at their peak for $850 million to being bought back just a few years later for $1 million, and attempting to reinvent itself as being a bit more fun than all the other serious social networks. In line with all that fun that they're having, they've decided to make all your old photos available from January 31st online, so prepare to look back in time upon your horrid younger self, and then briefly look disconsolately in to the mirror afterwards to examine the effects of the ravages of age.

We're not sure if this guy will be coming to every town to announce its return, but consider this your warning to warm up that itchy deleting finger.
