Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt 10–12-mile-long (16–19 km) military-style obstacle courses. Designed and created by British Special Forces to test mental as well as physical strength, obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights. The main principle of the Tough Mudder revolves around teamwork.

The Tough Mudder organisation values camaraderie throughout the course, designing obstacles that encourage group participation. Participants must commit to helping others complete the course, putting teammates before themselves, and overcoming fears. The events are untimed and an average 78% of entrants successfully complete the course.

In preperation for the 2014 Tough Mudder event, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, to Limerick & finishing in Galway on the 4th & 5th October, we have teamed up with Under Armour, the official partner of Tough Mudder, to challenging you to replicate the Tough Mudder Training videos below (on video or photo) and send them into us to win tickets to the event this October, plus Under Armour t-shirt, shorts, socks & footwear.

Each week in the run up to Tough Mudder 2014, we will be posting more training videos for you to check out & replicate to be in with a chance to win this great prize.

This week we have Everest for you to traverse.
