If you can say one thing about Ayo Edebiri, it's that she knows how to commit to a bit.
As you may recall, the actress, who won a Golden Globe for her role in 'The Bear' last weekend, has become an honorary Irishwoman thanks to a joke she once made on the red carpet last year.
Now, the 'Ayo Edebiri is Irish' memes continue to roll in thick and fast, and the Boston-born actress - who has no Irish links at all, in case you were wondering, and whose parents are from Barbados and Nigeria - has embraced the joke, too.
So much so that last night, as she won another gong (Best Actress in a Comedy Series) at the Critics' Choice Awards, she gave a shout-out to Ireland in her acceptance speech.
"To everyone in Boston, Barbados, Nigeria... Ireland, in many ways... thank you so much, I love you," she said, as the audience laughed.
A 'Late Late Show' appearance is surely imminent, at this point.
