It's been campaigned for, talked about, shouted about - but now, at long last, a Dislike button on Facebook could soon be a reality.

Facebook bazillionaire Mark Zuckerberg held a Q&A session today at Facebook headquarters and made the announcement. ""We’ve finally heard you and we’re working on this and we will deliver something that meets the needs of the larger community."

"People have asked about the ‘dislike’ button for many years, and probably hundreds of people have asked about this, and today is a special day because today is the day that I actually get to say we are working on it, and are very close to shipping a test of it."

However, Zuckerberg believes that Dislike button will be used not as a negative, but to display empathy towards an event or status, i.e. somebody failing a driving test or being stood up at the altar.

Although, in fairness, if you're posting about THAT on Facebook, you've got bigger problems than getting Dislikes on your status updates. "I do think it’s important to give people more options than liking it," explained Zuckerberg.

So, in honour of this momentous occasion, we're asking YOU what you'd like to Dislike on Facebook?

Shi**y photo of you on a night out? Your ex posting a picture of themselves with somebody else / generally having fun?

Maybe it's something like THAT person who constantly posts quiz results all over their page. That's annoying.

What are you looking forward to disliking on Facebook? Let us know in the comments! (Please don't say us, please don't say us, please don't say us...)
