Can you imagine being so angry that you'd punch a horse? Well that's just how batshit crazy soccer hooligans (Newcastle V Sunderland fans in particular) can be.

Back in April Barry Rogerson, known these days as 'horse punch man', threw more than a few digs at an unsuspecting horse  who'd just gone to work that day like any other police horse. Following a game bewteen Newcastle and Sunderland, a riot broke out, then the police rushed to simmer tensions and this absolute excuse for a human being took out his frustrations on Bud. Thankfully Bud escaped unharmed and is living his life as a happy horse today. As per the BBC, 45 year old Rogerson has admitted to having a violent disorder.

Having denied the charge at first, he's now due to face a sentencing at Crown Court on October 24th.

Guess you'd feel pretty stupid when the murderer sharing your cell asks what you're in for and you reply saying 'I punched a horse in the face'.

Judge James Goss, the Recorder of Newcastle, said the "serious offence" could result in jail terms for Rogerson and the others... The court will have all sentencing options, including of course immediate imprisonment, open to it at the sentencing hearin... Please don't think anything other than imprisonment is going to be passed for this offence."

Good to know they don't take kindly to animal cruelty.
