Arrests have been made by New York police in connection with Philip Seymour Hoffman's death as funeral plans for the deceased Oscar winner were released today.

Four people were arrested in Manhattan across three apartments that contained 350 bags of heroin according to the New York Times, with NYPD only stating they recovered an unspecified quantity of narcotics. According to TMZ, a heroin user who shared a dealer with Hoffman tipped off the police following investigations into Hoffman's death on Sunday from an apparent overdose.

Law enforcement sources also revealed bank records of Hoffman's which show he took out $1,200 in six installments from a grocery store near his West Village apartment on Saturday night, and they are now using this information to track down who sold him the drugs.

Meanwhile, Hoffman will be laid to rest in New York City on Friday, with the star's funeral set to take place at St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan shortly before noon according to the New York Post.

Philip, who had been sober for over 20 years before relapsing last year, recently predicted his drug addiction would kill him if he didn't get sober and police found 20 hypodermic needles and 50 packets of heroin in his apartment.
