If you paid in the region of 75 quid for an evening of stand up comedy at it's best, how long would you expect a set to last? What feels like 35 - 40 minutes? Didn't think so, especially when you also have to factor in transport costs, possible overnight stay, childcare costs if any... 

According to The Hollywood Reporter: "The comedian says she did a 47-minute set that was rushed Saturday evening because of the need to accommodate a second show at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland. But some audience-goers say the set actually ran only 35 to 40 minutes, and they were upset to learn the second show ran an hour."

One fan requested a refund of the $80 dollar ticket. 

Taking to her twitter to clarify the situation, the Trainwreck star said...

There's a discrepancy of about 30 minutes there, but - either way - we're sure the crowd were treated to some brilliant stand up. It's quality, not quantity, folks.

Speaking at last night's Glamour Awards, the comedian got very serious, and spoke about the need for gun control after the shooting which took place at a Trainwreck screening back in July. Taking to the stage, she said: "If you've been convicted of domestic violence or you're severely mentally ill, I don't think you should be able to get a gun. It seems pretty simple, but people's reaction is 'She wants to take our guns'!"
