It's safe to say Lily Allen isn't having the best of times. She recently suffered a miscarriage, her Chemical Brothers boyfriend, Ed Simons, dumped her shortly afterwards and now it's been reported that her new BBC3 talk show has been branded a flop by her studio audience - "more than a third walked out complaining of boredom." A source said: "Around 150 fans selected from the singer's 'friends' on social networking website MySpace attended the taping at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England last Friday and watched as the 22-year-old struggled to read handwritten cue cards after a teleprompter broke." One audience member said: "It just did not work. I do think she's got a nice voice but she didn't sing at all. I think everyone was expecting she would." Other sources said the singer seemed "nervous" - probably because she was "playing a series of internet videos showing animals having sex" for her guest Cuba Gooding Jr. After surveying the footage, Cuba said to Allen: "I don't know what's sicker, animals having sex or you clapping." You can see Lily Allen applauding fornicating animals on BBC3 tomorrow night at 10.30pm.
