They got married in a low-key ceremony around Christmas.
The two had been dating on and off again since meeting on the set of 'The Last Song' in 2009. Their wedding actually led to a surge in streams of the movie.
Now that Cyrus is wifey to the younger of the Hemsworth actor brothers, it should come as little surprise that the actress/singer wanted to make a big deal of the Liam's birthday. After all, as she points out herself, 2019 marks the tenth year that the couple have been in one another's lives.
Liam Hemsworth turned 29 yesterday and to mark the day, Cyrus shared a number of 'HBD' posts on Twitter and Instagram.

Sweetest of all was a long message in which she lists everything she loves about her partner.
The letter opened: "When we met you were 19, today you are 29... I thought I could share some of my favourite things about my favourite dude in honor of this very special day...
"The way you look at your family... at strangers... at life.
"The way you go outside when I ask 'what's the weather like?' instead of checking your phone.
"The way you paint, the colours your choose...'
She continues: "I love your dirty socks on the floor cause that means YOU'RE HOME.
"I love those little lines around your eyes when you laugh or look into the the sun.
"I love laying on the couch eating chinese when we're hungover from the night before".
Signed off by 'Yours Truly, M', the letter ends with the words: "Thank you for giving me the happiest days of my life."
