That Elizabeth Banks (Avery Jessup off 30 Rock) and her husband - after years of failed fertility treatments - have become first time parents thanks to a lovely lady who made her womb available for hire: "The one true hurdle I've faced in life is that I have a broken belly. After years of trying to get pregnant, exploring the range of fertility treatments, all unsuccessful, our journey led us to gestational surrogacy: We make a 'baby cake' and bake it in another woman's 'oven'. From that came two miracles. The first was meeting our carrier and her husband who were truly humbling in their decency and generosity. And the second miracle was the birth of our baby boy, Felix Handelman"... That Judge Judy has been hostpitalised due to exhaustion... Speaking to TMZ, she said: "I was feeling funky this morning... funky enough that I knew someone should give a gander over what I got. I'm just exhausted, and my body was telling me it needed a day to chill. At my age, I know my body. My body is fine"... That, of her daughter picking up a packet of inappropriate sweets last week, Katie Holmes told Ellen DeGeneres: "I took her to get ice cream in New York at this place called Serendipity that we go to all the time. Because I thought if I said 'put that back!' and then she's going to say, 'what is this?' and I really didn't want to have that conversation"... Brand Sense Partners' lawsuit claims the pair renegotiated a royalties deal with cosmetics company Elizabeth Arden last year that cut them out of their 35% commission on the fragrance line"... On the upside, it's also just been released that Britney's possibly landing a Las Vegas residency: "the 29-year-old singer has been approached by hotel and casino owners who are keen to sign her for an extended run of shows in the city. Vegas moguls are holding meetings to secure Britney for a permanent show. If she performed in Vegas on a regular basis, it would attract loads of fans to the city. She'd bring in so much revenue. There's no doubt she would be offered at least as much as country star Garth Brooks, who signed a $100m deal and has been selling out shows in Vegas since 2009"...
