Alec Baldwin, of 30 Rock and "thoughtless little pig" fame claims he was kicked off a plane for playing an online game before the flight took off.

As the story goes, he was asked to leave a Los Angeles-New York American Airlines flight for playing Words with Friends on his iPad device while the plane was still at the gate. Alec quickly took to his Twitter page to complain that an attendant 'reamed me out' for playing the game.

The 53-year-old wrote: "Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. No wonder america air is bankrupt."

Alec eventually caught a later flight, but vowed it would be his last with the company and blasted cabin crew members, calling them "retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950s."

Meanwhile, Sky News is reporting that Alec's plane was in fact moving, perhaps he was too caught up in Words with Friends to notice. A fellow passenger tweeted: "On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait."

Well, at least Words With Friends got lots of publicity. I'm sure your cheque's in the post, Mr. Baldwin.
