If you're a die-hard Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit fan, you may want to start planning and saving a trip to Down Under, because you can now sit and drink at the same tables as Frodo, Bilbo and company after The Green Dragon, Hobbiton was opened last month by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key. Set in the tourist village of Hobbiton, which has been open to the public since 2002 as a tourist attraction, has seen over 300,000 fans visit since it opened, and the new pint-sized and serving pub expects to attract up to 100,000 newcomers off the back of The Hobbit's release.

Described on their Facebook page as "A place to drink, a place to meet, a place to rest your hairy feet.", the construction of the pub was overseen by artists and creative directors involved in the Tolkien series, with every detail just like it is in the films. No word on whether having hairy feet is a prerequisite.
