"So Dad, how did you meet our mother?"
It's safe to say that trucker, Mark and his partner Donna will have a pretty unique story for their kids when it comes time to tell them the truth about how they met.
Mark was in his local pub when he popped into the loo to use the facilities. While there he noticed a number scrawled on the wall along with the message - “If you want a good shag call Donna on . . . ”
51 year old Mark decided to text the number as a joke and he ended up hitting it off with legal secretary Donna. It wasn't until a couple of weeks had gone by that Mark revealed how he'd gotten Donna's number. It turns out her spiteful ex had written it on the wall of the pub toilet.
“I should thank my ex — he did me a favour.” said Donna.
The pair now have two children together and Donna says that she's already been quizzed about how mummy and daddy met but has a shortened version of the story for them.
“I usually say that he texted me by mistake.” she said.
