EastEnders and Corrie were level pegging this year with 7 awards each (might explain why young David Platt got so hammered at the after party... Although at least he didn't get his arse out... see all the questionable After Party photos here). As ever, can't say I agree with all of them, for example - Best Exit and Best Single Episode both went to Becky McDonald's departure from Corrie. Yep, for some reason, the judging panel really liked the needless shot of Becky wobbling around the cardboard interior of what was meant to be the first class section of an plane, swilling plonk with yer man off Natalie Imbruglia's Torn video. It was one of the cringiest soap moments ever made, and I've witnessed most.

Now, to the aforementioned bewbs. Kim off EastEnders was always going to be springing forth. Tidemark features off Emmerdale didn't really need to bend over, but bend over she did. Mandy off EastEnders appears to have giantism of the left breast, when really all her dress was trying to do was show this detail. Eve off Corrie, who usually would have you're eye out, managed to keep things more tastefully under wraps... unlike her co-Cobbler Sophie Webster (by the by, I'm surprised she's not started putting fake tan up her nose too). And then there was Preeya Kalidas AKA Amira Masood. What. In the name. Of Jaysis. How was this ever a good idea? Never should one's breasts move in the the opposite direction of the bodice to such a degree. Unless it was made for someone with the shortest torso in the industry.

As ever, we have a few of our own awards to divvy out. They are as follows:
Most Awkward Pose: Emma Bunton (presumably there to hand out an award with Mel C), Sophie Webster, and one Jasmyn Banks.
Most Obvious Use of a Slit: Kirsty and Anna off Corrie, and Helen Skelton off Blue Peter.
I'm Pregnant, Didn't You Know? Alicia off Emmerdale (not sure how they're going to write that one in) and perhaps this lady.
Chirpy Chirpy, Cheap Cheap: Shane Richie's date; Lola and Denise off EastEnders; Ali off Emmerdale; pretty much everyone off Hollyoaks.
Perhaps Eat Some More Carbs: Priya off Emmerdale and Lucy off EastEnders.
Most Bejazzled Leg Brace Accessories: Nicola off Emmerdale.
Bravely Enduring Unwanted Attention Award: Leanne off Corrie featuring Alfie off EastEnders, and this unnerving scenario.
