I know your reactions are supposed to slow down as you grow older, but come on.

A 92-year-old woman in Germany was found screaming in a funeral home's refrigerated room after she had been declared dead.

The woman had been found not breathing and without a pulse by a caregiver in her retirement home. That's usually a good sign that someone's passed on, but seeing as it's a person's life we're talking about, you'd hope they'd have been thorough enough to make sure before confirming it.

As it turns out, they weren't, as the doctor who pronounced the woman dead has now been charged with negligent bodily harm, and faces anything from a fine to prison time if found guilty.

Unfortunately, the woman passed on two days later in hospital, this time from heart disease that was unrelated to the entire incident.
