Alec Baldwin said: "NBC hasn't done a f***ing thing to help this show (30 Rock) at all . . . They've gone out of their way to wring the last drops out of My Name Is Earl and Scrubs. Those shows are done! They're cooked! Yet they do a one-hour episode of 'Earl.' You've got to be f***ing kidding me."

Executive producer of My Name is Earl, Greg Garcia, said by way of retort: "(Baldwin) sounds like a psychotic narcissist… Instead of blaming NBC, I think Alec should consider that some people in America may not want to watch a man who cusses out his own 11-year-old daughter on a phone message (WOOoooOoo *brandishes handbag*)... Oh, and the reason NBC occasionally puts on an hour-long episode of 'Earl' is because an hour of 'Earl' gets better ratings than an 'Earl' followed by a '30 Rock.' It's called math, stupid."

Anyone else picturing Baldwin and this Garcia fellah in knee deep in a sandpit? With scout caps on backwards? Point being, both shows are "done" - My Name is Earl used to be good while 30Rock was never any good. They should be giving their respective scriptwriters some goading rather than spittling sub-par ripostes at each other, and perhaps take note of the American version of The Office - now there's a good hoot.
