There simply can be no sympathy for some people.
No, I'm not talking about people who mess around with rattlesnakes when they're dangerously close, that's cool. I'm talking about people who take selfies.
Todd Fassler of San Diego thought it'd be a good idea to take a selfie with a rattlesnake, from the above image, the video below, and every bit of common sense ever instilled into you, you can see that was a horrible idea.
After Todd plucked the deadly snake from a bush it did what you would have expected, and bit him on the arm. Todd was rushed to two Californian hospitals, where the venom had to be removed and the wound fixed.
Thankfully he's ok, but the same can't be said for his bank balance. Seeing as he's in America, where healthcare isn't what you'd call cheap, Todd has been landed with a bill of $153,161.25.
