Frank Reynolds
ActorFrank edited his first feature, PRAYING WITH ANGER, in 1992, nine months after graduating New York University’’s film school. The director of PRAYING WITH ANGER was fellow NYU classmate M. Night Shyamalan. That same year Frank entered the American Film Institute’’s editing program. A week before his AFI graduation, in June of 1995, he got a call from Troma Entertainment to edit their film TROMEO AND JULIET. After finishing that film, Frank stayed on at Troma for six months, editing trailers and spots. In 1998, Frank edited Adam Abraham’’s MAN OF THE CENTURY, which won the Audience Award at the 1999 Slamdance Film Festival and was acquired and released by Fine Line Features in the fall of 1999. He also edited Robert Siegel’’s SWIMMING, which went on to play at many festivals and was acquired by First Look Overseas. Frank’’s most recent film, Todd Field’’s IN THE BEDROOM, won a Special Jury Prize at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival, and will be released by Miramax in the fall of 2001
