A witty comedy-drama, Liberal Arts sees Josh Radnor play Jesse, a 30-something university admissions officer who is jaded in both his career and his personal life. When he is invited to attend the retirement dinner of his favourite professor, Jesse jumps at the chance to take a trip down memory lane, and over the course of the weekend he meets Zibby (Elizabeth Olsen), a zestful sophomore some 16 years his junior.
